What should I do with batteries (Fox dropper post, Fox Live Valve, SRAM Axs etc) - leave on bike, put in hold bag or hand luggage?

Similar question for the spare batteries - hold bag or hand luggage?

Thanks

We took our AXS batteries in the hand baggage, along with 2 battery pumps, a Bose speaker and all the charges, to NZ with no problems.

Put the CO2 canisters in the rugsack for the hold luggage and they got through with no problems.

Left the canisters with Abigale in NZ rather than risk bringing them home.

What ever you do i would let the airport know exactly what you are bringing and go with their recommendation

Those kinds of batteries go on as hand luggage items and go with you in the plane.

I've travelled a couple of times by air with my Di2 equipped road bike but I've just left that battery in the seatpost where it lives. It never occurred to me to remove it!

(I did, however, disconnect the battery so it wouldn't drain accidentally).

Removable batteries like SRAM - take them off, put the blanking plate on the mech and put the batteries in hand luggage.

Integrated batteries like Di2 - leave it well alone.
