Off to Betws for the weekend next month , any recommendations for a campsite with good showers ?
Rynys Farm just South of Betws y Coed, at the end of the Machno valley, is my personal favourite. I’ve been going for the last 4 years whenever I fancy a sneaky weekend on the bike. The views are amazing, as it’s slightly up the valley side, the owners are lovely and always very friendly and the toilets are immaculately clean. As a wee bonus, Penmachno is rideable distance for a quick evening blast, if you’re taking the bike.
Its been 12+ years since I last went, but we used to love going to Rynys Farm after discovering it by accident. Good to see that Carole and Gareth are still running it.
I must go back now that junior is old enough to cope with the more basic kind of camping 😀
just spoke to Carole at Rynys , all sorted . ride from the tent to Penmachno 🙂
