Nothing really revolutionary here but...
- Rocket, tomato, chorizo and manchego cheese.
- Cheese, tomato and capers
- Parma ham, Parmesan and rocket again

I use pesto rather than butter/marg, with something like rocket/posh leaf, vine tomato, ham. If you like pesto then it can go with lots of savoury stuff to add some difference.

lol what are you all on about?

Ham, cheddar and salad, done.

Or outdoor reared and oak smoked ham hock with snowdon black bomber, crisp little gem lettuce and sun dried tomatoes if you want to get all gastro pub about it.

EDIT: Jamie's wise cracks with subtle use of the sunglasses smiley is what keeps me coming back here.

Come on Jamie - Tons like looking for fresh ideas not same old - same old.... 🙂

My personal favourite is ham salad with a bit of salad cream but I'd be pretty sure Ton has had something similar a million times!

Gammon and pineapple with spring onion, lettuce, tomato and mayo is another classic.

Fish fingers.
Bacon.
Sausages.

Feel free to add your own extras, but as long as one of the above is present, you'll not go far wrong.

As for the rest of of you, well, 🙄

Bacon obviously.

Chicken, stuffing and Mayo. Chop the chicken and stuffing up and mix with the Mayo then spread it on your bread.

A sandwich filling is only as good as the bread that surrounds it. Therefore.... what bread for sandwiches?

Apologies, you're right.

As such, I would suggest my current favourite which is free range salmon with an IQ of +178, topped with moon dust shaken out of a dead astronauts boot, then drizzled with unicorn's tears. All this is then gently caressed between 2 slices of haunted ciabatta.

Bon appétit!

Oi Jamie, i can't help it if I happen to like that combination. Try it you heathen - it's fantastic.

(And yes it do have an Orange, but it's not a Five, and you won't find me driving an Audi unless they improve their quality control a bit (or a VW for that matter). I mean STW middle class stereotype, my behind. Right I'm just going to flounce off now.)

I usually have an Omlette wi the previous nights leftovers for breakfast and if I have anything left I throw it in a fresh bap from the bakers for my lunch, some combinations are better than others but it's certainly varied and interesting.

Mature cheddar, ham and Branston.

It's the best sarnie ever and can only be beaten in sarnie top trumps by a larger mature cheddar, ham and Branston sarnie.
