Looking for a rugged and waterproof phone as a back up for use in boat and kayak.
Don't need a smartphone, just want something tough and reliable, with good battery life.
There are a few on ebay but they seem suspiciously cheap.
Any Real World recommendations?
I got a fairly cheap MTT dumbphone from Amazon. Water resistant, small, light and can be set to ring quite loud which is useful for outdoors and in the pack type usage. Think it cost 30 quid or something.

Have a look at JCB.
I have the JCB Tradesman 2 as my:
-Smalll enough to fit in front pocket of 'farah slacks' without causing a bulge.
-Waterproof
-Can be dropped from height without breaking
-Long battery life (typically gets charged every 7-10 days or so)
Phone.
It's pretty decent for all of the above. Negatives are lack of predictive text (which may or may not matter to you)
