Off to Bath on Friday to meet a friend I haven't seen since start of the Pandemic.

Looking for a place with a range of decent beers, good food and not too pricey.

Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance!

Starter for 10, the Crystal Palace. Round the corner from the Abbey so easy as a meeting place, but manages to feel a bit secluded. Courtyard garden, decent beer, good food.

Beer and not too pricey food:

Pie at the raven
Pizza at the bell
Pub food at the pig and fiddle

I like the Burritos at mission burrito.

There’s also some more good pubs and food places in Widcombe which is behind the Train Station that is often missed.

Up the opposite end to the taps. That way you can lean back comfortably and there's less chance of sitting on the plughole.

A tray of some sort is a good idea so you don't get crumbs in the water.

I like the Green Rocket which is more of a cafe than a pub, has good bottled beers and the food is really tasty (although all vegan if that bothers you).

Wherever you chose, book ahead. in my experience, turning up on spec is likely to leave you hungry.

I always just go to the real italian pizza company, nice and easy, quick and decent prices, plus in the centre.

There is loads of other places depending on taste, Dough is around the corner, and you have the general places over the other side like Las Iguanas and so on, Bath is not a place you'll struggle to find a place to eat
