The best remix of Water From a Vine Leaf 😀

Awesome stuff!

I think that youtube have the names mixed up though as this is the Spooky remix not the Xylem Flow.

I wouldn't know Hora. In the same way they say 'if you remember the sixties, you weren't there'. That applied double when you were staff at the Hac

Anyway - I'd have got the bouncers to kick you out. Happy days indeed

peachos, you legend!

Never seen him live, but was at Gatecrasher Summer Sound System in 2000 when Sasha played it for the first time (was being recorded for Radio 1 essential mix too)... The crowd reaction was unreal! Absolutely crackers for a tune being played for the first time... Mind you it really is THAT good ain't it!

You ever checked out any of Laurent Garnier's other stuff?

of Love always did It for me with a head full of magic along with too many others to mention . Great memories of going from Madchester sounds to early [url=

/ techno stuff at places like Ballys , Rezerection , Bishops , Pelican , Fantazia then onto nights In Mallorca and Ibiza.

Not too mention some great house stuff from the like of the 23rd precinct label In Glasgow .

Wish I could go back to those days for a night with some old skool Biscuits ...

Classic bit of Italo piano house:
http://il.youtube.com/watch?v=_Z24D2nq6eY&feature=related
Not the best mix of the tune but the only one YouTube seems to have. Used to go crackers to this. Had to make a special trip from South Cumbria to Eastern Bloc to find this.

Always enjoy the noises in this one:

Great break in this, can't remember hearing it in any other tunes from the era:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VMY9HBn_5g

And finally, the track that changed my life:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIzSZH6oqeM
I was lucky enough to meet Mark Archer last year and he was sweet enough to have a chat to me whilst I bawled superlatives at him in my 'energised' state.

I still remember the night I turned up and there was suddenly the large black metal detectors on the doors. Gulped when the bouncers said they were for the potential knife and gun problem 😮

I also remember the weekend after we were at Picadilly21's (we used to go there to try and 'pull' older totty for experience!) that someone was chased through the club and shot dead in the toilets.

it's usually a quality night, if a bit messy towards the end.

If it's still SSE doing the sound system then expect LOUDNESS, the system was originally specced by Big Mick of Metallica fame and he's deaf as a post. It's the only place I've struggled to breath from bass pressure 😈

Went to a rave in a field back in the day somewhere in Kent/Surrey, there were loads of VDubs there too, Afro Dizzi Act (sp ?) made a live PA. The bass actually made your t-shirt jump. I could still hear music for days after. Wicked.

Kirk's Nightmare

Don't know how to do vids.

I'm going on my bike now, otherwise I will sit here all day listening to old skool tunes!

Karinofnine - was that rave in wrotham or edenbridge? Shut up and dance also did a pa? Still get flashbacks.

How about this tune - the birth of jungle, all got a bit moody after IMO 😀
