Hi,
Does anyone use Audible to listen to audio books? - I like the idea of it for when I am doing long car journeys but the limitation of one book per month included with your £7.99 subscription seems mean.
If Netflix or Amazon Prime only allowed you one program series a month nobody would subscribe so why is Audible so limited? I guess the market is fairly small compared to streaming TV services but it is not going to grow with this limitation in place.
Are there any other audio book services without this limitation available?
I can download audio books from my local library, up to 4 at a time and I can choose how long to loan them from 1 to 25 days - asfaik you can't 'return' them early.
I go for the annual 24 credits for £110, works out much cheaper on a cost per credit basis and with the daily deal, £2 or £3 per book, and occasional 2 for 1 sale keeps me going in listening material
Thanks!
MikeG I have signed up with my local library. They have quite a few audio ebooks I fancy listening too.
Bimbler - thanks for the heads up about other subscription options for audible. I may go the same way that you did with the 24 credit subscription.
Any other comments or suggestions most welcome!
