Subscriber or not that page formatting needs a workover from the new AI chat bot.

Morning, sorry you are having issues.

Any lifers having issues you can contact Mark and he will sort this for you, it needs to be done individual rather than a group fix. Shouldn’t take long once you have been in touch.

As a free member, when I get the Article Limit thingy on my desktop, refreshing the page makes it go away and I can read the article. I assume that that's not meant to happen.

-- Edit --

Same under Android/Chrome

It's a metered paywall or what is also known as a 'soft' paywall. It is designed to nag repeatedly rather than completely lock users out like our old 'hard' paywall did. In fact the software we use is called 'Leaky Paywall' (Google it). Essentially there are so many different combinations for tech, devices, browsers - each with their own ways of accessing web content , that devising a foolproof method of blocking ALL devices in all operating system variations in all possible browser combinations with all possible on device security and privacy settings is just not possible. For example, even for me, I get the paywall after x number of page views wnen I know I've set the limit at Y. So yes, the experience can end up being different from on euser to the nexyt but the overall experience is one of a constant 'nag' to move you down the subscription funnel. I hate the term 'nag' but it's used in the world of subscriptions to explain the psychology that happens behind the tech - if you know what I mean.
