Completely forgotten to get a wedding present for a couple for tomorrow. Struggling to think of some quick ideas other than grabbing a couple of bottles of some spirits that they enjoy from Asda on my way home.
Anyone know of any novel but simple ideas?
M&S gift voucher
easy, if somewhat unimaginative
Decent quality glasses are always a good idea, wine glasses, champagne flutes, whisky tumblers, brandy bowls etc..
A proper grown up pressie
Plus if they don't like 'em they can always "re-gift" at the next wedding!
Or walk in and put your card on top of another present and hope you get the credit !!
I bought a mate a few lottery scratch cards, think it was "£40,000 a year for life" type things. Something they wouldn't buy themselves but would have been more use than a second toaster.
I bought my friends Lunch at La Manoir aux Quattre saissons .
Depends if they are foodies or not .
Clay pigeon day ?
No point in buying them a new kettle coz its shiney , or one of them vertical toasters if they have been co-habiting for years . They will have all manner of stuff . I do have a Pannini maker which is nice though
A nice bottle of spirits and two nice glasses to go with it.
Do you know where they're going on honeymoon? If so, enough cash in that currency for them to have a meal out on you, words to that effect in the card?
As TJ says although it does depend a little on how much you want to spend. Nice glasses are brilliant, especially big wine glasses
