As above I quite fancy one of these waterproof cases to keep phone dry when out and about on bike and fishing etc.

Are there any other waterproof pouches I should be looking at to keep my valuables safe?

Personal recommendations welcome!

I bought a Trekmates one dirt cheap for my "GPS" phone. Had a it a couple of years at least now and used it lots. Still holding up well. Never had any leaks, but never submerged it, just lots of wet weather use.

I got one as a cheap alternative to a proper case, and gave up after a couple of months. The touchscreen was rendered virtually unusable and photos were all affected by being taken through the case.

Admittedly, if you just want it to keep your phone dry and to hold a bit of money, credit card etc it is probably fine. If you want mine, I'll sell it on for some beer tokens.

LokSak - really rate them

Mainly used in a jersey pocket to stop sweat getting into my phone

Have been using the same pouch almost daily for over a year now

just bought myself one of THESE from decathlon purely for when I'm on the road bike and want to keep my phone in my back pocket and there's a risk of rain, didnt want anything bulkier.

Plastic food bags with press sealable tops. Small or medium for phone, large for maps. I used to have aquabags on the boat until I saw Dame Ellen Macarthur using a plastic bag ! Phone in corner, expell air, seal, fold bag. Job done and cheap as chips.

I use an aquapac, under wetsuit, for keeping my van keys dry when surfing. Never had any issues. But overkill for bike perhaps. I just use sandwich bags as above
