Excellent - two of the Forum's favourite topics under one roof! 😀

All a bit of fun (as I type on my Macbook Pro... 😉 ), but some of the commentators on that page seem to be in dire need of a sense of humour 😕

I was brought the book 'The Cult Of Mac' and it compares it to a religion in their.

How can having a computer that just works be a religion.

I had more religious experiences with my PC according to my wife - frequent utterances of JC, references to a bloody hell etc.

Ah, maybe I've died and gone to heaven....

It didn't say Apple was a religion, it said Apple fanboi-ism is a religion.

I think it was Umberto Eco who stated that Macs are catholic and PCs are Protestant. PCs might have icons, but they're not high church.

I think it would be the other way round.

Protestants/AppleUsers can read their manual and it's clearcut, Catholics/PC-victims have a whole hierarchy to obscure the issue, and the manual is frequently useless. 🙂

We don't read the manual. We're gnostics maybe?
