Just got the presents downstairs and managed to remove both empty stocking from the kids bedrooms. The stealth like too many beers dad has now got to place them back on the kids beds with his not so delicate builder hands without disturbing said children. Wish me luck. ...

Still to do it here too (and wrap Tracey Island). Gonna be up for a while as the lad's proper excited, hasn't got to sleep yet and we've had tears when he saw the lights of a plane pass overhead and assumed santa was passing him by for not being asleep.

I've just been and retrieved the smallest ones stocking, which he had tied to the curtain rail in the far corner of the room, resulting in one upturned box of Lego, a broken clock and a woken up boy. I'm now waiting for Mrs TGA to get back from church with my MIL so I can accompany her on today's (25th) marcathon run (some thing where loons run every single day in December) so she doesn't have to do it later.

Just been into the loft and found a present from last year I'd forgotten about.

I was really excited until I remembered it was a puppy.....

There used to be a dog with wheels instead of back legs in Aylesbury, so it is definitely possible.

Done! Dear daughter, at age nearly 14 and still loves the Christmas magic decided to test dad/Santa to the limit by tieing the ****ing stocking to some tinsel on the end of her bed with what can only be described as shark catching thickness nylon. I have to confess that this year Santa had to crack out a bloody Stanley knife on his rounds!
Off to bed. Merry Christmas everyone one see you at 5 am. ...

Collected the twins bikes from my parents earlier, they are now surrounded by a mahoosive pile of presents in the lounge! It's going to be carnage in the morning when the gang descend from their slumber!
I love it!!!
