I know it's a longshot but i'm off to spain for 2 weeks on monday and taking a hack bike by plane ....however ....my uncle who is picking us has just changed his car from an estate to a smaller model so basically ...I either buy one for 2 trips by car , borrow one 😆 or strap it to the roof (no bars!)
anyone possibly help

Buy a padded bike bag - will go across back seats (or strap to roof - Spain you say...)
Sell it when you get back.
