Went round the house yesterday and counted "Apple" products... 17 of them! Between three of us! "North Face" stuff is a close second in this household... How the hell did that happen? Hypnotic suggestion? OCD?
It got me thinking, what other brands do people get carried away with?
I don't think I have more than 1 thing of any given brand apart from guitar pickups, all of which are Bareknuckles.
On more then a few occasions I look like a specialized model from one of their catalogues, I've got so much of their clothing. None of their bikes though.
So far I've got..
gloves x3
helmet x2
shoes x3
glasses
jerseys x3-5
base layers x2
leg warmers
bib shorts
baggy shorts x3
jacket
Also got the pumps, mini and track, and probably loads more stuff I don't even realize I have because I'm so used to it.
The last twice I've bought bikes, I've looked around at all the options, and then bought a Cannondale. Hmmmm.
Andy
I like Sinn watches.
Animal T shirts. Must have over a dozen of them.
That photo makes it appear like the baby has a freakishly large/long head.
Patagonia
Nearly left the house looking like a poster boy.
Mr.Kipling.
I need to adopt an exceedingly strenuous workout schedule as a result.
vans (20+ pairs, only ever wear proper shoes to weddings and funerals)
carhartt (even got carhartt grips on me bike!)
stussy (fair few stussy tees)
Went riding today.....in Endura tights, socks, overshoes, baselayer, jersey, gillet, hat, glasses and gloves.Generous staff discount helps :0)
Superstar
Hooters
I think I have become an unwitting Apple Fanboi.
Lacoste t-shirts and Adidas trainers.
The last 5 times I've bought bikes, I've looked around at all the options, and then bought a Cannondale. Hmmmm.
We seem to have a similar affliction. I still have four of them.
And then there is Assos and Apple.......
Adidas. But that might be because I get their stuff free.
Patagonia here as well. I just love the stuff
A bit of a Rapha problem last year as well but I seem to have recovered from that
Howies trousers.
Does Aldi count? ๐
Current bike stuff:
4 pairs lycra shorts.
2 pairs bibshorts.
2 pairs biblongs.
2 pairs ordinary longs.
2 Winter jackets.
2 Spring/Autumn jackets.
1 pair waterproof overtrousers.
1 waterproof jacket.
I bought one of everything to try. It fitted so I popped back and bought some more, thinking it would wear out quickly - it doesn't. ๐
I've got a pair of Gore Windstopper biblongs and a Gore Alp X jacket.
If I was loaded I'd have a hell of a lot more Gore tackle.
I quite regularly go out in winter in Endura socks, shorts/trousers, undershorts, base layer, jersey and jacket ๐ฎ
In love with castelli stuff.
Just realised I have 23 Lacoste t shirts.
Paramo gear for me and the good wife.Jackets, pants and baselayers, you name it,we've got it. ๐
i have about 15 chunk t-shirts, but they're really cool so that's ok 8)
Seem to have a fair amount of Decathlon stuff around, though I'm not sure if it's hypnotism or because it's cheap ๐

Why do you need that many t shirts lol?
TJ?
I've got a lot of RaceFace stuff, both on the bikes and to wear, shirts, shorts, jackets, a fair bit of Howies stuff, jeans, tees, shirts, Oakley, stuff, glasses and jeans, some Apple, PowerBook, couple of iPods, a couple of iPhones; thing is, I like stuff that's well designed, aesthetically pleasing, and well-made. Doesn't have to be expensive; I've just got into Uniqlo's stuff, which is excellent quality, great to wear, and not expensive. And not a label to be seen anywhere.
TM Lewin.
Loads of Gore Bike Wear and every one of my wetsuits is an O'neill. This is because both of these brands cater well for the taller gent.
started counting the rapha stuff but stopped counting at 20
got a fair bit of canon camera stuff
and a few apple products macbookpro/macpro/iphone/ipod and soon an ipad
Rusty you met my tailor then ? ๐
not all of the aldi stuff is great, but the shorts, winter bibs, winter gloves jacket and the socks are good
I also trust prendas, consistently good kit and when they have stuff on sale it's a double win
+1 kingtut - I have decided to buy shirts only from Lewin's from now on, they are the only ones that fit properly
maglites, got 6.
dont need any of them.
I've got a lot of Endura and Rapha kit, have to be a bit careful sometimes that I don't go out looking like a catalogue model.
I wouldn't say I particularly choose it over other stuff, it just tends to be good and fit well.
The closest I've got is Gore-Tex shoes/boots:
Biking shoes. Work shoes x2 . Steel-toe cap Work boots (free issue though). Walking boots. Salomon trainers. Northface trainers.

Bugger, forgot the 2 pairs of winter gloves and a dozen pairs of the socks - all good.
The 'merino' tops were a bit rubbish though.

A bit of a contridiction, you start off middle class (Apple) and then plummet into ChavsVille...
And for me, probably XTR ๐
