I’m a simple iPhone pay monthly sim only  ( my Mrs forces her old iPhones on me, as I was happy with a brick) user (few texts, few what’s apps, some email, some browsing, Spotify, some European holidays).

on Vodafone and it’s getting expensive, no longer has a Spotify option and pay extra for eu roaming, Asda appears to use Vodafone and is £7 a month for 5gb, has free eu roaming and I can get Spotify duo with Mrs.

anybodyon Asda and is it ok etc, any catches, ta,

I use Lebara, piggybacks off Vodafone. no rolling monthly contract, free eu roaming, 15 Gig  for change out of £8, and they often have deals on.
Voxi do something similar.

I'm on voxi. £12 for 75gb (was 25gb but they had an offer and maybe still do)  and free social and music (Spotify etc)

me and wife also on lebara.  not sure whether they still do it but we got a deal for about 50p a month for 6 months, then around a tenner after that.  we went to them from smarty for the free roaming and very happy with them.

My wife and I are both on Asda's £5 for 3Gb monthly tariff, no problems at all, use in France half the year.

I'd add that they have (so far) good customer services, you can actually talk to someone without jumping through endless hoops.

No contract needed, simply an automatic renewal each month, can stop any time.
