after reading the thread on,am i to old to skate,i like the idea of going to work on a longboard,but im 42 and ive never done any real skateing,what are longboards used for? any help advice photos would be great thanks.

Do you have nice smooth wide pavements all the way to work.
I used to get around on one quite a lot at university. Tarmac hurts though...
