For some time I've been a #1 all over but now it's receding and going a bit patchy/grey I thought about shaving it off completely

A #1 usually lasts a couple of weeks or so how much maintenance is shaving

No guard here, every sunday evening, and a no.1 over the beard at the same time...

No guard, fortnightly. Could do with being weekly now, tbh.

how much maintenance is shaving

If you mean totally bald with a razor then daily.

I wet shave 2-3 times a week, but unlike Coyote, I stop at the bottom of my neck.

Wet shave? Daily, unless you like the razor getting clogged up constantly.

EDIT: Might get away with less frequently given that you're already a partial baldie ๐Ÿ˜€

Lazy bugger here wet shave once a week - though I would be classed as a partial baldie...

Another vote for trimmers with no guard once a week or so. Occasionally my mind tricks me in to thinking I'm not really bald and I'll grow two weeks worth of baby Owl fluff.

Baldie here, once a week with the electric shaver to get most of it off, then wet shave to get it properly shiny and smooth.

I use a gillet all over 2-3 times a week since I was 21 and spent time with Buddhist monks.

Women like it but I wore a pirate costume with a wig at a concert and it seemed to pull more.

The power of too much and too little hair lol.
