I currently knock around in a 6 yr old BMW 325i Touring. Nice and fast and has all the bells and whistles, but....
I'm skint due to an ongoing divorce and need to cut my costs for a couple of years.
One area is the car... I do 20000+ miles/year so fuel is a significant cost (@30-33mpg).
My Aunt always buys a new car and always gets rid at 3 years on the dot. She's got what appears to be a top-of-range 2014 Honda Jazz 1.4 (ES?).
Now I know they have a certain 'image' (I take the p1$$ out of my mum's older Jazz for example)but they're reportedly amazing inside (I'd still use a towbar rack and or roofrack from time to time), but....
Would the joy of cutting fuel costs by about 30% and the comfort of a reliable well-looked after Honda offset the lack of driving pleasure/comfort of the BMW? I hear the Jazz isn't too great on long journeys....
Are there issues with roofrack limits? Does the front seat turn into a bed?
I know there are a few Jazz owners here and was wondering if they're as good as reported or whether I'd be better off just staying put.
Thanks!
