Looks great on the hyped up ads. What's the reality?

A bit hit or miss sometimes but fun when it all works. Older phones/tablets won't connect so you need to check compatibility.

Wasn't a hit with my kid (in fact I just ebayed it as it was gathering dust - loads available second hand), I think because it couldn't measure up to just playing Forza or whatever on the XBox.
For grown ups with that scalectrix nostalgia it might be a different story - it did work pretty reliably IIRC.
