Doing well so far in the semi against Fed.
Taken first set so far.

Chance now to really make his name and move up to the top two.

Playing well so far - it's going to be tight though I think!

It's pretty obvious to any tennis fan that the thread is going to be about the semi final!

D'oh!!! Put spoiler in title please. How was I to know that this would be about his progress through the semi-final of the AO? 8)

OK, OK spolier added..... didn't realise people may want to watch later not knowing score!

On other news..... Armstrong (may contain spolier) - Man lands on the moon.

Andy Murray looks so much more confident in this tournament than before.

This tie break is not going well though.

Bllx - funny how Castle is not even attempting to be neutral, especially on that volley at 5:5:!!!

...and Rafa. Men's tennis is in such good shape that it's such a shame that Rafa is missing. Amazing to see that Fed still has it even if the baton is gradually moving to Djok and Murray (hopefully).

+1 Wallace1492. He's been dead for at least 10 years, so the body won't smell so bad by now. 😆

Murray looking more dishevelled than usual in this set. Wouldn't be surprised to see him lose 3-1.

This is so distracting, I have too much work to do. The ebbs and flows in this third set and this latest Murray game are so intriguing!!

A few years ago I would see Murray fall apart right now and lose 3-1, but he is sterner stuff now, and is actually coming back just when you think he is on way down.

Fingers crossed..........

Rog looks more distracted that normal. Good to see AM can get under his skin - a true Highland (ok lowland) terrier!!!

Now it's Castle and Lloyd tempting fate!!!

Nice, Mr Murray. Very nice.

His attacking has improved hugely in the last year under Lendl. He looks like a very complete player now.

Brazilian commentary is great and enjoying both players.

Shame they don't scream "gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" every game though 🙂

Yup, Fed's digging deep and finding something. Murray needs to hold his game together!

Murray is so much more in control than he used to be. That line call would have killed him in the past.
Superb mental strength

Federer shakes his head at netting after that poor drop shot - he's still a very good player, but not what he once was I don't think. Though Murray isn't letting him be.
