so after other peoples reccommendations thought i'd give them a try, but they dont seem that helpful or flexible about non normal applications.
Anyway theres a box to tick online saying all external doors need 5 lever locks or 3 point locking. I emailed them to see if this meant garages / sheds as well, and their reply was they didnt know as depends on the underwriter (i thought was axa) but i'd have to take a policy out then they could check and if it didnt suit my needs i'd have to cancel it!
Also as i live about 350m ( and about 35m vertically uphill) from a lake they cant cover me as they can only provide ceover over 400m away. The vertical 35m height was irrelevent apparently.
Dont you just love these strict computer systems sometimes 😕 I guess thats how they keep prices down though
