Can anyone recommend a cottage within walking distance of Ambleside town centre. Suitable for a group of 5 blokes!
Yes, myself and the family rented one via Lakelovers,3 bedroom,stone cottage. Situated
above the Salutation hotel. Lakeland cottage was the name I think. Was only a few minutes
walk to the town centre.
Can't recommend a specific cottage but Wheelwrights will likely have a few to choose from and they are always very high quality.
We stayed at Peggy Hill cottage for a week in February. Lovely wee cottage, 30 seconds walk to a great pub, similar time to a great bike shop.

Ah just read the 5 blokes bit, only sleeps 4 so scrap that. As above lots to look at on lakelovers and heart of the lakes sites.
