I'm not really one for labels in music, but I've been listening to quite a lot of this recently and want more similar stuff. A few ideas of what I like: Haxan Cloak Andy Stott Loscil Global Communication Biosphere Carbon Based Lifeforms Karen Gwyer I really like the stuff that is heavy on atmospherics, admittedly some of the above aren't exactly ambient as such, but seem like a reasonable starting point. What else should I be checking out?

I've had that Surgeon set 'liked' for a while on my Soundcloud. Sitting at work giving it a second listen through. It's really good!

I was lucky enough to be sat in a yurt ( setup inside one of the rooms at Baskerville Hall ) watching and listening to him do the mix live at Freerotation.
