Altura - bit tougher than Lone Peak?

I've been really happy with my Lone Peak running shoes ... but as I do more hiking than running and they've worn out fairly fast I'd like something as comfortable but a bit more rugged. I'll still want to do the odd 10-15km trail run in bad weather so don't want anything too hefty.

Any thoughts on the Olympus? Or any other recommendations?

Altra have a very mixed reputation for this.ย  No personal experience as I know enough people who do have

Same here.ย  It's hard to get foot shape shoes though sadly.

I really wish someone like altberg would get on board with this and do a leather shoe, no membrane liner, foot shaped, no/ minimal heel drop, flexy but hard-wearing sole.

I've had an eye out for ages for such a thing but it doesn't exist AFAIK.
