i ride with one bugger, he's 63. still makes it up 800m ascents. a little more gingerly on the way down but by no means the slowest....

nearly 51 going on 8 just done 38miles and nearly 800mtrs ascent on the dark side still love rock pooling and paddling . cheers

I wish I knew what this was about. I think [b]fagus[/b] is being disingenuous - we have no mechanism for rejecting riders who wish to join rides.
Ive briefly seen SFB- he looks bloody good for his age. I'd put him alot younger. Must be all those newbie bums you've photograhed on rides over the years!

Saw some place recently that regular cyclists look an average of 10 years younger than their 'real' age. So you lot should all be looked pretty great.

I think it's more that cyclists results in medical tests match those of people ten years younger.

54 here, with the attitude and dress sense of a twenty year old, didn't start riding mountain bikes until my 30's, got my first one in '88. 'Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional'. I refuse to grow up.

41 years young last week, couldnt give a toss about age to be honest, ride on the road with 1st cat roadies, off road with mates of all ages, snowboard with brother whos 50 this year. Its njust a number!
