I have some old cufflinks made of solid 9 carat gold (evidently the hallmark dates them to 1927 and from Birmingham but makers mark has worn), which i had valued in a jewelers at between £75 and £150 resale, £225 for insurance purposes...

bit vague that, anyone know anything about this?

what should i be looking for price wise from the bay? prices also seem to vary wildly on there.....

any tips or hints or better websites to stick them on, or get advice from?

no i dont want to "turn my gold into cash" with some dodgy company before anyone says it!

Take them to an auction house, they'll value them at what they think they could get, and that's the price you should target for a sale.
