Anyway I've got a vintage french workwear navy stiff canvas top thing, but one of those you have to get over your head. Basically I've been strapped into straightjackets that are easier to get out of. But worth the effort for that half hour of stacking the log delivery.

Im not offended at all, I just think your justification / definition is absolutely laughable and so out of touch.
Surely a true hipster wouldn’t be seen dead with a MacBook of any kind. The whole point of being a hipster is to not follow the mainstream. Apple are the most mainstream thing in the world. Way too modern. BBC Micro or ZX81 would be more like it.
Is now the wrong time to mention I have a couple of different pairs of Moc Toe work boots and about 8 pairs of Dickies 874 work trousers in various states of repair/colours?
I get my dickies from the US for about £15 a pair...
