Why what's wrong before Manchester???

Done this trip hundreds of times in past but not often in this sub-zero temp

Just looking at the BBC weather predictive map player thing, it looks as though snow will come in over central and carry on east in the morning.

Looks like ti could get a bit snotty around Chester / Warrington area around noon.

You'll be fine.

ok cheers geoffi will take it easy for sure.

Will be checking the weather before we go and abort if necessary, the in-laws will not be happy but not worth taking a risk with 2 little ones in the back if it's looking any bit dodgy on route.

Now that would be a challenge, maybe a Summer adventure but I'd doubt I'd get fun police clearance for that 😉

Pete- you collecting peat? Enjoy the drive, you'll be fine. I did Yeovil return today, easy pops.

Don't forget the coffee/ pee stops. And bear in mind that the services may not be gritted- Cardiff West was 'entertaining'! to put it mildly.
