Yeah, he often mentioned his surfing and all round athletic prowess.

I'm sure he told everyone he was the stunt double for Point Break and the Big Wednesday....

I honestly thought his name was smurf_hat!

Glupton was a nice bloke and really helpful when I buggered up my ankle ironman training.

Who was it that had a meltdown when someone mentioned they didn't want to buy a house near council owned properties (in a slightly predictable middle class stw style)? This thread is bringing back some memories.

I wonder if he's bought his dream home for cash yet? Having 'screwed' over the banks by not borrowing from them....

I work with a bloke whose been racing Karts, Formula Ford, and F3000 for years, and has been a championship winner, as has his son, and who also teaches supercar classes at four circuits, including Castle Combe and Thruxton; I'll bet he knows Surfmatt, and has probably learned most of his driving techniques from him, too... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Before my time, and I'm not trying to be a dick here, but before we chuckle and reminisce at the comical madness of a fantasist, he may not have been well? Most fantasists aren't.

Thought that myself.

Remember Richie McCoy? The lad that got ripped to pieces on Bike Magic ? He was later diagnosed with AS.
