Compared to my current job (or client/posting anyway) that sounds like a great job!
You need to be careful applying for jobs as an island copper. I remember the infamous Alderney Riot(s) all to clearly. Well, I remember the first one, which was more of a disturbance really, and the second one is a bit hazy because I was asleep in bed having got quite drunk before it happened.
Anyway, I remember the morning after, the extra police turning up from Guernsey, the newspaper headlines, the uneasy quiet on the streets...
Island copper. What could possibly go wrong.
