I generally like GoT stuff - original series (apart from the last few episodes), House of the Dragon - really like this.

But can't seem to get into Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.....

Anyone else struggling with it?

Just seems slow and disjointed.

I'd wait until a coupler of seasons are out so you can binge more than one episode at a time. I think like GOT and its sequel, were also slow burn butt picked up.

Yeah, this is a bit slow, would be better to just binge it in one go. House of the Dragon was much worse, I think they could have edited that down to one season of five episodes if they cut out most of the standing in dark rooms muttering stuff.

I really like it.ย  I like the slow pace and simple storyline, would have liked the episodes to be longer.

I'm enjoying it on the whole. I've read the short stories and the casting and performances have been pretty much dead-on. Oddly, the less-successful bits for me have been efforts to cram in stand-alone jokes (Dunc shitting his leg off, Ser Arlan having a massive wang, etc.).ย

No issues with the pacing. Every scene can't be tits and beheadings. Also enjoying the short episodes; actually fits the story pretty well.

Hope GRRM's involvement allows them to go beyond the 3 published stories, as I can't see him managing to do them as additional books.
