Are they pretty much all the same or any I should avoid?
Amazon have some £18-20.

I always use 7Dayshop

I'd go for Kingston.

Actually do I need a class 10 for my phone?

Class 10 probably not necessary but wouldn't hurt.
Cards are so cheap now it's worth getting the best you can afford.
I use MyMemory for cards and USB sticks.

Lots of dodgy sellers on ebay. They fake the capacity and sell at bargain prices. I got stung by this recently when buying a 32gb Samsung card. It went bad and my wife lost all of the photos on it. Fortunately they were backed up automatically to the cloud. Buy genuine from an official channel.

"class" is fiction. Buy a known brand from a reputable seller.
