Ha! Ha!

Very funny.

There is literally two feet of snow out here in Livingston and I am supposed to be trying to get into Edinburgh tomorrow for an interview.

There is literally 2cm of snow here in Sussex and the trains have ground to a halt. It's pathetic - one of the main lines into London and they can't keep it running through a minor snow-fall. The train companies are now running an 'contingency' service which means they can cancel trains with gay-abandon without it affecting their performance targets. And hence means they can continue to shaft us with record fare increases in 2011.

^^^^

Our trains are still running up here.

West Lothian Council has invoked its special emergency powers though and the schools are now closed until the end of the week.

woffle - not sure where you are but there's a fair bit in places.

someone I work with spent 3.5 hours driving a round trip from Hove to Crawley this morning and said it was pretty bad out there.
