After one for my elderly parents.
To be used mostly for Office applications and surfing, no gaming.
Must have 17" screen - they've been used to a 19" screen desktop and not willing due to eyesight to go smaller.
Portability and weight not too high a priority.
Decent build quality - maybe a metal case or very tough plastic one.
Warranty - brands with better ones (longer etc) would be preferred.
