From what I remember of my GCSE Electronics would suggest you need a Potential Divider.

Two resistors, total cost about three pence.
That only works if you also know how much current the radio takes, which will change 🙁
Looks like this sort of thing but you need to check the power raying
^^ or a voltage regulator if the output voltage is a bit more sensitive (12V from a car can be 14.4 on a good day, and quite messy)

I have no idea what everyone else is talking about which is why that although thruppence is cheap enough I'm happy to pay a tenner for someone else to put it together. 😀

As above they only really work when you need to divide the voltage for something that takes no current and are fed from a fixed voltage supply.
I have used these buck converter boards for doing similar. Again you would need to check the required output current.
