.... well they certainly seem to have Rocketed in price, I'm certain the 67 road bike was at the lower end of £500, if even that at the start of the year.
Wonder what's caused the dramatic price rise
Cheaper at Rutland...
Are Frog one of those brands which advertise RRP on their website, but nobody sticks to?
I don't think so, they always used to be the same
Our local halfords has some Wiggins children's road bikes less than half price if that is of any interest............
My daughter has a Wiggins road bike, it's a great bit of bike for the price. She loves it.
Wiggins here, too. It’s a cracking little bike.
Somethings up here,
When I first clicked on OPs link the price of a Frog 48 (my daughters bike) was £399! I was sure it was cheaper than that, so I checked google and sure enough it's £275ish from the usual places. I clicked back on Frog's site, it flickered and now shows £280!
Im lost- price is £460, well under £500?
I was just on their site an hour ago thinking exactly the same thing, prices are either about to shoot up dramatically, or there's an issue somewhere, however for the 48 that I was looking at, they now seem to have come down again, with a much more modest price rise. Looks like someone perhaps uploaded the wrong pricelist?
After Brexit prices?
After Brexit prices?
They're made in Pontypool, so unless they're going in for a bit of profiteering when all the foreign made ones jump in price, I don't think so.
And where do they get the materials and components from?
Weird, it's back to normal level again, perhaps it's a new website glitch 🤷♂️
And where do they get the materials and components from?
All components mined from the ground in Gateshead
Just some perspective be it £399 or £289 ... that's still a cheap (HT) frame. So you get wheels and crap components free.
