oh wait hang on! lack of pinch bolts indicates that is what holding the crank on!
do you have the extraction tools for these cranks ?
other than that you should be able to use any hollowtech compatible bb - ive fitted hopes to them in the past
The small collar and allen key are for preloading the bb bearings.
slacken allen key and the collar rotates.
BB should be ht11
i dont have the tool yet. does one need the puller?
pinch bolt style HT2 cranks come off without it, with a little rubber mallet persuasion, are these different?
No - it's a dust cap for an inner thread.
You need the proper XTR tool

i mean the collar with the allen key, not the one in the fingers in the picture (sorry, not my picture)
i get how the inner thread acts as a puller, just like the good old days.
i suppose the spline is different, so it could well be different to pull off.
i reckon i'll leave it alone till it conks out then replace it with something normal.
The collar is for preloading the bearings. The allen bolt locks it in place once you've set it.
The bit in your fingers in the pic is just to stop the extractor threads getting full of carp while riding.
+1The small collar and allen key are for preloading the bb bearings.

BTW thats my hand on that piccy 😉
