Not used them for a full alps season, but been running them a year now on my hardtail, 180/200 ice tech rotors. Had a weeks abuse in Morzine, regular Lake district all mountain epics, Wet scottish enduro and recently a week in Sierra Nevada.......... They have not missed a beat, wouldn't buy anything else!
If your a downhiller though, apparently the saints are the business too.

Work brilliantly and I've never had them fade in Les Arc / Verbier but after about 2 years both my levers needed replacing- the main seal has gone and they stopped returning back to position with brakes sticking on.

Shimano brakes are very easy to maintain, if you take some top up fluid and brake pads you should have no issues.

I'm relying on a Saint setup for my summer in the mountains this year.
