[Closed] xo twist shifters set up

hi can anyone please answer.... does the sram xo twist shifter need any internal lube of any sort...im not seeing answers on the sram site

Never lubed mine and they've been clicking away happily for three years now. They're the 9 speed ones though, no idea about the new ones.

yes its the 9 speed i`ve got second hand to try them out.... cheers for replies

You dont really need that tho, normal thin synthetic stuff does fine.

I should clarify, my 9spd lasted agaes before they dried out and needed greasing. Ive only done them twice since new, thats 6 years of good service, shame the grip wore down or id still be using them.
