9 spd 6 hole disc wheels, looking for a pair best I can find is £170 for 1750g...can anyone do better in this price range?
not as in personally can you do better 😉 but have you seen any for sale?
Superstar switch evo wheels with crests come in at about 1600g and are currently £200
yeah im looking at the clearance superleggra pair for 150...if only the rear hub wasn't so annoying!
I wouldn't buy wheels on weight alone.

I did weigh them but can't remember the exact figures, both wheels were in the 800g ball park, the rear was pretty much 800g dead on, the front I can't recall any more than 800 and something.
I think expected use (strength or lack of) should also be considered?
Never mind durability or spares availability...
£158, around 1600g and tubeless ready. And built by proper wheel builders!! http://www.merlincycles.com/bike-shop/wheels/mountain-bike-wheels/sale-wheels/pair-xt-disc-hubs-15mm-front-ztr-355-rims.html

Ha...cynic-al/moe: no don't fret its for my featherweight missus who shall we say tends to pick her way down than bash through like me!
