Just dropped a pair of RL2 Slants on my bike. According to the last service the forks are set at 140mm travel. There is 140mm of stanchion leg showing. However with all the air out and leaning fully on the fork it stops about 15mm short of the crown. I thought it may be something to do with using 27.5 wheels instead of 26", but I'm a bit baffled. Any ideas would be welcome.

Air in the damper side IIRC. You can reset them temporarily by carefully and slowly unscrewing the damper top cap. A bit of oil and air escaping confirms it. Normally doing this buggers up the lockout unless you can pop a tiny bit of oil back in to replace what's lost, though.

Damper seal change will be needed to fix it.

I found it a problem in two RL2 forks I had.
