I have got leave from family duties to go biking on Sunday. Going to drive up to the ski resort here!to test out my Prophet for the Alps with some lift assisted laziness.

Should be good. Last time I went it was on a Prince Albert and I felt more beat up after a day than a whole week in the Alps. It is a toss up in bringing the Patriot for one last fling in the Alps or the Prophet. Will decide on the results of Sundays trip.

How the bit copes with the rocky bit of the trail in the film should help sort the men from the boys.

So Prophet or Patriot?

Actually remembering the breaking bumps on the Pleny and the sheer relentlessness of the stuff maybe Full coil on the Patriot would be better. I was just wanting to do less Pleny type runs and more woodsy technical single track.
