Had a Strava blip but it was my first Imperial Century, my first Metric Double and at a pace that was nearly 8kph over my 100km pace.

Haha. I'm so glad someone else thinks the same. I've never been down the top half so slowly before. It's like riding on sheet ice, the bottom half was almost bone dry. I just can't get any confidence back after a year out and when it's like it was yesterday I struggle even more.
I did an unplanned somersault into a big clump of grass there a couple of weeks ago.
Took it very gingerly last night, trying not to brake on the mud, and just about stayed on.
Had to dab a few times but managed to stay upright, unlike on the lower steps in the Japanese gardens last week. Really slippy resulting in a high side/otb. Too eager on the brakes, seriously considering a skills course or something.
Visiting relatives this weekend - had to get my fun during the week.

The camera is a little Fuji XQ2 - really under-rated IMHO so they're pretty reasonnbly priced. Compact too so they fit nocely on a shoulder strap but you can still use the controls with gloves on.
What a job to get these on the site, nearly lost the will to live.
Picassa is now Google photos and doesn't share well anymore. Flickr doesn't seem to work on W10 Microsoft Edge can't find the BB code.
A bit of a backward step to have to use old explorer to load photos.
