TLDR:
Long. Still snow. Misty. Knackered my knee. New Jones bars are good.
After being lied to about a Yorkshire ride that I didn't want to go on, I headed out early to do a wee mini loop of Grasmere and Rydal.

Finally conquered my fear of the tree drop on Thick and Creamy in the Surrey Hills.
Nothing wkd either 🙂 But even though the snow was only a couple of inches deep the bike is standing up by itself, which gives you some idea of how heavy it was. Quite a slog.

Classic Beast loop (with the rubbish bits taken out) at CyB. Fantastic conditions, warm-ish, only rained for a bit and - most importantly - trails in great condition. 8 weeks off the bike has reduced my aerobic output to that of a poorly mouse, but luckily I was able to re-ivigorate my exhausted carcass with beer after the ride,
