What's the funnest way of dropping down to Hope from the Roman Road?
In a Zorb Ball?

Legal choices are limited to -
Along Hope Brink, hairpin left at the gate and follow it down, then tarmac past Fullwood Stile Farm and join the Edale road back to Hope
Along Hope Brink but hang a left 3/4's the way down, short steep drop to the gate, then tarmac past Fullwoo etc.....
Along Hope Brink towards Aston, drops you out at Edge Farm then its tarmac back to Hope.
There is two cheekies but never done them or heard of them being ridden

Note, this is not a criticism - just thought it was a footpath.
Oh yeah. Well spotted, (just checked map) seen plenty ride it and its only short. 😉
Anyway. Funnest usually does not usually = legal. 🙂
I don't know of any clever ways down - it always ends with a tarmac downhill for me. I only ever plan to go up Win Hill from Hope - and do a circuit that comes back to Hope another way. There do look to be a few cheeky options that I've not explored though.
