Just putting my WI freewheel back together after replacing the bearing. It moves nice and freely until I tighten up the lock ring, after which it goes very stiff.
What am I doing wrong? Snap ring not seated perhaps? It's pushed in as far as I can get it....

Hit the bearing with a big hammer, via the bearing press.
