[Closed] Whyte 46 front mech issues

Ok so I got the frame to add to a collection of parts and everything's going beautifuly until it comes to the front mech! I was going to fit an X Gen but the adjusters will be a bugger to get to (same for x7 and indeed any other front mechs I have lying about) Does anyone have a 46 and can advise on what would fit or any suggestions would be useful (so long as it doesn't involve selling the frame and getting something a bit more 'normal') I had a similar issues with my 2004 Alpine Trail but it seems even more of an issue with the Whyte.
