Just curious, do the soloists out there ever get funny looks while propping their bikes up, and then taking a photo?

Durr, there's no one else there or they'd ask them to take the photo.
I did an hour locally around Judy Woods in West Yorks betwixt Halifax and Bradford.
Not cold enough to freeze and the mud was epic!
It was, however cold enough to make my hands cold, should have gone for the thicker, proper winter gloves I think!
Nice day to be out so took the dog for a walk after as darkness gathered and had a few spots of snow in the air
Had a good road ride sat afternoon, 50 miles round the Lune Valley, Milnthorpe & Lancaster. Was a nice dry afternoon but the wind certainly made you work hard!
No riding today, but no.1 son's rugby was frozen off so we went for a 10K run with the dog instead.
Lap of Leigh Wood and a lap of AC. Dropped at Burrington Combe when the others stopped for tea and cake, and raced the sunset back to Wells, via Biddle Combe.
An hour out round the back lanes of Settle on the CX. Was going to go over the fell to Gisburn but the snow was coming down quite heavily at that point and the thought of gaining another 250m altitude over a nearly 4 mile climb wasn't looking like a sensible choice, especially as it was less than 2hrs til sunset. Stayed to the valley roads instead.
Did about 17 miles round the south of Manchester yesterday (mainly bits of the Trans Pennine Trail out and Fallowfield Loop home), then spent today trail[s]building[/s]mending at Gisburn.
I managed a 50k route on the singlespeed today. Over here it has suddenly got cold after a week of non stop rain. All the deep mud tracks were frozen solid making it great fun to ride! Only a sprinkling of snow but some heavy snow forecast for tomorrow!
A couple of hours locally on Saturday then a grand day out in the Peak on Sunday - heavy legs now.
Nirvana ride from Westcott, they really have gotten very freeridey over the past few year's (been away for a while)
Started to bonk at the end so let them go and stopped for food. Rides starting at 11am and running till gone 3 with only a little cake stop is hard on the stomach
Had a little crash trying a drop far too slowly but no harm done
2hour road ride on Sunday as well, just a little collection of local hills
20 miles round Moores Valley singletrack. First time on the mountainbike since Gorrick BM#1 in November (been riding road due to conditions). Loved it, felt awesomely fast. Disappointing strava times took the edge off, only just over 1 min faster on the 5 mile loop than last time I did it 2 years ago, which was just after 3 months off with a busted collar bone. Still felt fast.
10 miler this evening after work,nice and cold air...lol
Yep 20km around Rivington today! Was a fantastic morning, cold and clear with the trails in great condition!

managed 2 hours out on the road bike with t'other half, beautiful day out, saw more riders out than most rides I did this summer, hopefully people snatching the opportunity whilst there was strange fire in the sky....
I'm liking the pogies - home brew or do you have a link? Mrs J could do with some of them.
20k of the balmy -1 degree backroads around Harrogate. Loving riding in the cold at the moment! And the dark for that matter!
Got a couple of hours digging/riding the pump track. New soft bits and wet mud are knackering. New line works though.
Yep - did 22 miles on the Hybrid - very cold but glad I got out...
We did 14 miles around a local loop, but it felt like 3 times that!!
Mud, mud and more mud for alot of the ride.
Tyres went from 2.3's to 3's???
Obligatory stop for cappuccino and cake :)although they had run out of cake so we settled for Snickers (or Marathon's in old money)

Ridden both days this weekend but nothing 'proper'. Decided to run my errands by bike yesterday. Head to toe in waterproofs + helmet and lights on in the middle of the day. Unbelievably cold and 3-4 inch deep puddles on some of the made up paths round here. Still more fun than driving.
Today was a family ride with eldest on his bike, littlest on the rack seat for the 1st time and my wife's first ride in about 18 months. Probably did about 2miles all in but the weather was stunning and good to see no.1's confidence growing on the bike...next job get the stabilisers off.
Did the Garburn, Gatesgarth, Nan Bield passes today. 20 miles and 5000ft of climbing (did Garburn twice so I could get back to the car) quite a big day out for me.
Went for a very muddy ride around Danbury. Mainly rideable but few very dodgy muddy areas.
Bikes got filthy but hey, that's what they are for!

Short ride on local bridleways. Like riding through treacle it was so muddy. Then the chain started sucking on granny and had to push the bike up hill. Queue the sarcastic comments from the walkers coming the other way. I Shouldn't have bothered.
