After a little encouragement on another thread, I've used bike cad and the published geometry figures on a few manufacturers websites to come up with this....

I want it to be just like my Soul but with the advantages of a 29" front wheel, which I suppose is basically a suspension fork corrected Singular Hummingbird, maybe I'm asking to much.
I need to spend a bit longer looking into this before I commit serious money to having one built, does any one have any comments to get me started?

Looking pretty good I'd say so far as general geometry. Is that a 1.5in headtube 😉 What fork specs did you use? That's a lot of offset unless it's a G2 Fox or something. What's the trail figure?
Anyhow, get one made, see how you like it!
i was thinking about this the other day, as long as the while trail / rake thing will work then it should all be good.
Why not try posting it up on the 29er and Frame Building boards over on MTBr.com, you should get plenty of feedback over there.

- yup the head tube looks pretty big - missed that one, I have no plans for anything out of the ordinary there
- fork specs were a guestimate too, most likely using a F29 or a New Reba which I think are about 44mm, need to check that one
Any hints on how far up the head tube the down tube needs to be for decent clearance for the fork crown?

Might bite the bullet and get one built, at least in steel I suppose I can have it changed if it turns out to be a diaster...
Also, any comments on columbus tubing as opposed to 853?

you could put a 1.5 headtube in and use one of the headtube devices created for iron horse bikes to play with the headtube angle but still using standard forks
