Is it the frame of the surge in a complete bike version?

Think the surge is the same frame, I've had a quick ride and they're really fun. Better than a BFe and a bit cheaper, plus they have a better dropout system.

Same frame as the surge as far as I know. The newer versions have a better dropout system, I think that pre-2011 they were just vertical drop outs. I preferred the feel of the bfe that I bought to replace it, a bit more forgiving and springier.

I think the cheaper Core bikes were not full cro-mo frames like the Surge (cheaper rear triangle maybe?)

Geometry is the same though , I think.

I had a Mk1 Surge and it was tons of fun, I went from a Bottlerocket to a Surge and couldn't have asked for it to be better for my preferred type of riding. Bombing downhill with lots of jumps.
